- Everett Raymond “Ray” Kinstler was the foremost portrait painter in America. The story to be told was of a piece of artwork by Ray’s mentor, the famous illustrator James Montgomery Flagg. The piece was recovered after disappearing for decades, and under very mysterious circumstances.
